Shehnaz Mansuri graduated from Loyola Law School in 1998. She always had a strong commitment to social justice and civil rights. While in law school, she worked in the Juvenile Division of the Cook County Public Defender's office and at Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic. Shehnaz practices in Federal Court managing cases that focus on police misconduct. She has handled a class action lawsuit on behalf of students against a Chicago high School and recently handled a religious discrimination case that gained national attention. Her experience includes substantial motion practice, negotiating settlements and taking depositions in complex civil rights matters. She has been trial counsel in over a dozen trials, both federal and state, and has argued twice before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also an adjunct professor for Loyola University's Child Law Trial Practice Program. In her free time, Shehnaz enjoys spending time with her family, reading and playing volleyball.
