David litigates civil rights and commercial cases in federal and state court. In his civil rights work, David represents plaintiffs who are suing police officers and law enforcement agencies for false arrest, malicious prosecution, excessive force, and related claims. In his commercial practice, David represents small and medium size businesses engaged in various contract disputes.
David's passion for legal advocacy is based on his prior experience as an attorney for victims of domestic violence and, prior to becoming an attorney, as a program officer for international human rights and development organizations in Washington, D.C. and Central Europe.
